Hallinsuo wetland is situated in the north-east corner of Virolahti and covers an area of nearly 18 hectares. Hallinsuon luontorauha is a significant ombrotrophic raised wetland and a representative of an infertile habitat. Hunting is not allowed in the area but driving elk and eliminating invasive species such as mink and raccoon dog, is allowed.
